I would say he was going too fast and rolled it. Bad luck where he rolled it for the CMP customers. Just a hunch, that driver may be out of a job

For a minute I was thinking when I saw the photos "Aww man, not a Western Express truck!". But it looks like an owner op.
This is exactly what happened. For anyone who has hauled bottled water in a dry van or reefer, we haul more(in cubic centimeters) than what a tanker hauls (in gallons). When's the last time you've seen a 13'6" tanker 53 feet long 102 inches wide? Food for thought.

That would explain why I had to take a detour on my way home last night. This corner usually claims one or two victims a year. The road is posted at 50mph, but loaded or in inclement weather it is not a good idea.
Thanks driver, I missed the first part of Judge Judy because of you!

A Quality Assurance guy in Hollis (Poland Spring bottling plant) asked if it were a Western Distress truck. I thought so at first as well, but it does look like an O/O in the grainy picture.

Re: The tank v. dry bit - I might weight 71k (100k total loaded to the overflow port) but I'm squat. Surge & shift aren't issues. The ONLY time I've 14 wheeled an 18 wheeler was with 46k worth of beer in the box.... That was some frightening ####. Not a moment I care to relive.

@207nomad isn't kidding about Judge Judy, btw. Guy loves it. Lol.

When I worked at Western Express the company was contractually obligated to haul up to 46,000 pounds max in those elderly Hyundai dry van trailers. It could be done, but at the expense of not taking on much fuel,if any at all. I lost count of how many times I must've spent money on CAT Scale tickets to adjust the tandems to balance out the truck,as WE's tractors aren't equipped with suspension gauges. And that was just for one load. Sometimes 1 adjustment was only needed, sometimes more. I think I had one load that took 4 tries to get it right.lol
