Drivers capture video of train colliding with big rig at railroad crossing in Schertz
Another local news story with different footage. -
These stupid TV stations takes forever to load with their idiotic ads, I never did get to the video. No matter, just another day in the life of a train engineer. There are over 2300 RR crossing accidents a year, or 6 per day. It's a pretty good bet, an engineer will be involved in one. The vehicles destroyed? Not to worry, there's a farm field full of unclaimed ones, I'm sure.
SmallPackage Thanks this. -
A friend of ours just retired as an engineer for BNSF after thirty five years. He said that it was impossible to go through a whole career and not hit anybody. Somebody was always asking him how many he'd had and his answer was always "too many".
Some people ask impolite questions without knowing they're impolite.
He never said exactly how many he'd had and I never asked. All he ever said was that they tried not to brake so hard that they'd derail and that the engines were designed with crashes in mind.mjd4277, bzinger, Val_Caldera and 2 others Thank this. -
People are glaringly suffering increased SENILITY as the Electronic Distraction Devices become easier to hypnotize and control users.
Expect R. R. Crossing "incidents" to INCREASE as society continues to produce mental density and empty emotions therein equaling excessive impatience and insanity.
>>I'm referencing those people that EASILY get impatient at fast food drive through lanes and use a pistol to shoot into the buildings through the food transfer windows OR through front and side windows because their "orders" were "incorrect" or "took too long" despite the normal times of day that create crowds, formerly known as delays.<<
