I use to pull out of the Americold in Dallas quite a bit. Never had issues loading/unloading. I also use to deliver to Denver Cold Storage, in Denver,PA. Wait times depend upon the place, for the most part they all have detention times that vary. I will agree about Sysco. I despise those places.

I believe what he is stating Tyler is in dry van, or reefer freight. It depends upon where you are delivering to. I have set from 1 hour to up to 8 hours at a receiver.

I have been to some customers multiple times..
One day in/out a week later I'm there for 4 hours, with no reasonable explanation.
You never really know, every day is an adventure. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

I'm happy enough with my situation.
Just saying it's hard to give an accurate answer on 'average' detention times.
But yeah if he's worried about sitting... Shouldn't get into Reefers.
Depends on customers a lot also...if someone pulled a lot of broker loads.. They're going to have a fun time.Last edited: Sep 12, 2018

Looks like I took it wrong
Either way you're right...x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Really depends on place, time and a LOT on drivers attitude imo.

We go to Americold Leesport PA A LOT. And it reminds me of that psycho kitty girlfriend we all had in high school, when it was good - it was great but when its bad you are considering the horsepower of the rental wood chipper you are gonna need to have to toss the body thru.
x1Heavy and Balakov100 Thank this.
