    This is not the first time they've done flatbed! A decade ago they did it with usxpress & covenant! Just as soon as their van freight comes back, they will bale once again!!

    well i dont know but i am with averitt van and the business is sure booming or it seems that way with all the miles i have been getting

    Yeah, but the ones I have seen have had the headache rack on the trailer. That is messed up. I reckon you have to pull whatever equipment you need before you load if you have to nose load. Then hope you don't need anything else...:biggrin_2556:

    it doesn't matter if you are talking about a company like averitt or jb
    or us express.. if its a truckload company...they all suck....the only real jobs in trucking are ltl....

    i worked for averitt for several years.. mostly in dedicated.. if you are
    getting plenty of miles consider yourself lucky.. most average 1800 in six
    days

    JB or US are not in the same league with Averitt, not even close.
    Averitt is an LTL company, but I guess you haven't noticed.
    But they happen to have a truckload divsion. Conway is like that now. So is UPS.
