I am interested in knowing what the range or avg earnings daily for driving an end dump in the Austin area? I know it is probably a wide range just need to know what the area pays.
My info will be about 3 yrs. old....... first, it' commission , bout 25% depending, and the pits are clogged, all the time. Most of the drivers pack up and make it worse on the contractor and the pit. hard to get anything done. Get the highest comm. you can cause the loads are cheap. I barely busted $500 and that was a good week, busy with no rain. More often than not it was 3 to 400 unless it rained. Just couldn't carve a spot . Always glad i was retired and had pension for support. Only real way to pull any cash was to own truck and have trailer on % of load agreement. I don't know if they pay FSC to o/o. If you do this get old golf club for truck. You'll need it to knock dirt and stones off side boards so you don't get ticket. JMO , your exp may varry.
