Avoid Dhaliwal Brothers out of Stockton CA

I can think of 100 California companies that aren't owned by a Punjabi. Most of them are local rock hauling companies, private fleets, and regional freight carriers.
How do you feel about working for a company owned and run by Hispanics? How about one where most of the drivers and shop people are American Indian?
Any problems there?

I know a few people from India and Poonjabby are very well
known crooks and swindlers even in UK/Canada, very well
known for committing wage fraud, insurance fraud, never
honoring what was promised, even a Poonjabby is afraid to
work with his own kind as he knows somewhere down the line
he will be scammed out of money. A lot of the visa overstays,
illegal workers will starve rather than work for a crooked
Poonjabby business owner.
They will make a great show, drama of chasing disasters and
showing up with aid providing some food and water as a show
of charity. Run and do not look back, report them to DOL/OSHA
whoever can fine the crap out of them, usually they do a fake
bankruptcy and comeback with a different
name.

 

go to Craigslist list and find an owner operator to drive for...usually its a guy who has never driven and has a truck or a few trucks and work your schedule out.

I was in the same boat as you and I do 2 weeks out and a few days home....usually 2 weeks out will get you a long load and a short load to the east coast, a 34 hour reset, then a long load and a short load home back to the west coast.

I've always skipped big companies. I like it more personal with the owner.

Only downside is its usually 1099, and you take a chance of not being paid if you have a blow out with the owner but then again its like that at any trucking company.

 

I have no doubt that there are Punjabi business owners who do all the things you say. There are also people of every ethnic origin you can name who are just as crooked.
