I dropped my CDL 8 years ago when I came off the road, I'm restarting with Schneider next month to get it back. Only a 9 month contract after training so if it isn't a good fit it won't be long before I can jump ship. It's an option, according to the recruiter I spoke with, they have training at Green Bay, Indianapolis, Charlotte NC and Wilmer TX. Pay scale isn't great, but it's not bad either.

Edit: One driver had a long gap in driving. Had been living in Philippines. Brought his wife to the states and now she's riding with him with Blinsky Trucking.

 

Schneider will count all your experience from the previous 10 years last time I checked. They are not going to be helpful with any of your other long list of demands. But they got trucks and freight. Just go do it for 3 months and then all of sudden all the other companies will magically recognize your previous experience too.
