You’ll have to do an entry level driver training course to get your hazmat again, in addition to the other things. It’s about $150 amd sit through some online videos to pass the course.

Just an online deal. I had to do it last year to get my hazmat. It was a few videos to watch and then a quiz to take. Once you pass it goes into the system so that once the training and finger prints are done you can go take the written test at the DMV.

If you google hazmat entry level driver training a bunch will pop up. I think the one I used was Midwest Driving School or something.

 

I dropped my CDL 8 years ago so I'm going through the whole shebang again. I decided on this route because I'll be getting paid to get my CDL back instead of having to pay to rent a truck for practice and testing, its about a $2-3k swing in my favor this way.
