    Updike Logistics in Auburn, WA. Had 1230 appt to load, and just started loading trailer at 1715. Not coming to this place again!

    Not when 4 of us all had time specific load appointments and everyone waited at least 3 hours before they started loading...

    That's trucking. Grab a nap and wait some more. Naps are good for you. When they walk onto the trailer, you get up and go count the freight. You should be pretty bright eyed and bushy tailed then.

    3 hours 4 hours wait? That's a chance for a GREAT nap. One complete sleep cycle. That's like eating a steak sometimes.

    If it had been my truck, I would have pulled off at the two hour mark and told them to call me when they had their #### together. Since it was a company rig, couldn't do that. Don't get paid detention until 4 hour mark. Wasted almost of my 14 hour clock for a lousy 240 mile load.

    And that statement right there is why the shippers/ receivers get away with doing that to truckers. Nobody is willing to start calling BS on that treatment.
