You moved close to the company, as in MN? Or you moved into a company truck? My 4-yr anniversary with Bay&Bay will be in a week and a day, part-time though!

Thanks, NY. I remember talking with you right before orientation. I moved to prairie farm, WI. 60 miles from D & T. I figured why go through twin cities traffic after work. So, I pass the house on the way out (east), usually getting a restart, then one night before I deliver westbound. So every week I am home 1.5 to 2.5 days. The worst case was 10-12 days. It's a struggle but the work is there and they always help me out with whatever I need. Thanks again D&T 2182 Charlie

Hey all, I just completed my Orientation with Bay and Bay. They are very well put together for there Orientation. The hotel I stayed in was great!!! A nice sweet with two large screen TV's. A pool for you to enjoy and a good breakfest in the morning. They worked through there system each day and gave good comunication as to what they are and who they are. They do expect you to follow there ways. There was 6 of us in a class. 1 class per week. I was the oddball of the six.The others were owner operators .Keep in mind they do give the option to lease to own. I decided to stay as a company driver and see what happens with that and get feed back from the lease drivers. So far I'm thinking of what I need to do to position my self to move that way down the road.
My first trip:
My DM (Driver Manager), Travis is great so far. My truck has 800k on it but that is the way of first starts. I expected to get an older truck. When the lease is up this year I'll get somthing newer. The truck it's self is a cadilac. Very clean and in a comfort zone for a long run. Radio reception was great. Last company I worked for I was changing channles every 10 miles.
I started out at there terminal in Rosemount MN. Hooked an MT and pulled it to there customer 20 miles away. Dropped and hooked. Entered the Qualcom and checked out the trailer. I was on my way!!! I drove through the night till my lunch break. Then till my 10 hour brake. 610 +- miles. After that I drove again for 600+ miles to my home area of Saratoga Springs NY. Parked the truck and load and had my daughter meet me so I can get the rest of my gear for the truck. My load doesn't deliver till Monday 11/4 at 12 noon. So now I have 2 days till I leave for MA. I'll deliver take a 10 and be fresh for them in the morning on Monday. Can't wait to see my next run. Long short ? I believe so far in this company. I hope they live up to what they say!! If you like to run long but with in reason. Call them!!! You won't be disappointed. I'll write more down the road as time goes by. This is my start. 11/1/13 TJF
Good luck and wishes to you all. TJ. Fraser :aka (K100E) a proud Bay & Bay Employee!! -

All I gotta say is it is nice to hear good posts about a particular company. I start in 2 weeks with Bay and Bay I will be in the lease purchase program there payments are about half of what I pay with Prime plus you can buy at end of lease. The reason I chose Bay and Bay is I have a beautiful Wife and 3 beautiful little girls at home and Bay and Bay promises quality home time on a regular basis. With Prime I think I have been home 8 days maybe in the last12 months. Bay and Bay also says they may get me runs going right through my house. I gotta sleep somewhere it might as well be home. Wish me luck God Bless
