Be wary of small independent truck stops.

Card skimmers have become very prevalent over the past decade and some of these devices are now quite sophisticated.

It would not hurt to take a moment to familiarize yourselves with the devices, what they are and how to potentially spot them before you become a victim of identify theft.

Years ago an Arab run convenience store in a service plaza along I-80 in eastern indiana was selling illegal diesel to truckers. I didnt know it til i was getting pm few hours later in PA. The guy showed me my fuel filter full of red fuel.

 

One less person at the small truck stops. More parking for me. Go back to pilot driver

 

that crap can happen at the largest CORPORATE truck stops as well as any Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Waffle House, etc,etc....even at YOUR bank at thier ATM machines.....

 

It happens everywhere, be why I dont have a card of any sort.

 

I was in Philiy a while back the next day I got a call from my bank. There were 5 or 6 withdrawals from an atm in Philly for $85 each.

I have not used this card in months, but somehow someone was able to read it and use it. It was in my possession as well. The bank refunded all the money and fees.
