I drove for 6 month"s two years ago, And the Local Jobs are crap in my town too. I just started to call some of the C.os asking what I need to do to drive for them! Every C.o I gave a call to Wants me to have a refresher course. So thats what im trying to work on at this time. Im going with Prime!! You might get luckey and find a Small c.o that will hire you on. I was unable to find one! Good Luck to ya

The school at JCC in Smithfield also has a night program. Through the community college system, the price is right, less that a grand for the full course.
cesanders Thanks this. -
Have you checked out epes transport? Follow your plan with jccc and ask the instructor about them. Good luck! Feel free to pm any questions!
