If it's only for a few seconds, watch your oil pressure gauge, if it quits beeping as the gauge starts to go up, that's probably why it's beeping, and won't have a warning light on on the dash.

Having drove some Internationals I suspect you might be hearing the engine crank warning. This happens on most reefers too. This beep beep beep sound can drive a person mad when you are using the old self cranking systems for temp and battery control while asleep. Some mechanics can disable this warning. Now if it is something else it should show up with the gauges. As has also been brought up I think the FMCSA requires audible warning systems for low air pressure. Watch your gauges when you crank up. (something you should be doing already)

Now it may be a surprise to some of you but I am not a commercial driver. :) This truck is the chassis for our motorhome. Blinker fluid is full :) Now the washer fluid is currently empty, gotta go get some new fluid, but I wouldn't think the washer fluid being empty would make it beep. Checked the air in the tires all at between 88-90lbs on a warm La. day..

Could be the low air warning does it stop once your air pressure builds up?

Could it be a test beep? Making sure it works. Sort of like when you start your truck and all the lights go on? It's a test.

You mean when the horn keeps beeping? That's when you open the door before all the air levels out after you pull the red and yellow. It irritates the heck out of me.
