Bekhzod Asrarov, 42...charged following a crash on Interstate 71 in Madison County

    Madison County Municipal Court documents state that a trooper arrived at the scene and gathered evidence. Records say that the semi rear-ended the Honda, drove through the median cable barrier, crossed the median and drove into the northbound lanes of I-71.

    Authorities seized the dash camera from Asrarov, along with three cellphones and an electric logbook tablet. Records say warrants are being drafted to retrieve evidence from Asrarov’s electronic devices.
    Using Google Translate, the medics asked Asrarov about a dash camera. Asrarov reportedly pointed to his right pocket.

    Tobias Forsythe, 21 years old, a goalkeeper for UMass of Lowell died in a car crash on Sunday in Ohio, the university announced in a news release on Monday.

    I wish they would start charging drivers for their inability to communicate with law enforcement in English. Laws and regulations that are never enforced just create contempt for the rest of the laws.

    On a positive note, I was at International Paper in Cayuga Indiana and they turn drivers away that don't speak English.

    Speaking of dash cameras BC in Canada is making it mandatory for commercial drivers.. I bet the cops will start using that against drivers when people call in on them.. hopefully it improves safety

    You are absolutely correct.
    The drivers need to be charged, the carriers, the brokers and then the shippers in that order.
    Follow the money. Nothing will change until people who orchestrate this not only pay serious fines, but jail time as well.

    I have very low expectations in this regard.
