Look for damage to their property. If none, dont mention it. If so, mention it.
As for the bent step, could heat it up and pound it back into a less noticeable condition.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Probably report it. If you don’t you know they’ll ask and blame you. Better to get in front of it, atleast then have a decent chance of not getting #### canned.

Just stop at a small repair shop and get it fixed out of pocket.
silverspur, tscottme and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Post a pic of the damage,it might be a easy fix.

"Gee, boss, I have no idea how that happened",, I know, it goes again everything mom taught us, but mom isn't here, and sometimes, especially these here days, on something like this, and no cameras, it's not a big deal. If you report it, could be the biggest mistake. Trucks are going to get boo-boos, owners know that, and I see bent steps all the time. Cabovers were notorious for bent steps and fuel tanks on the right side. We've all done it and the boss never found out.
What is important, is watch where you are going. That block of cement or whatever you hit could be a car next time.Wargames and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -

Rideandrepair, classic_150, Oxbow and 3 others Thank this. -
We don’t know what kind of truck or tank step it is. Hopefully its not a tank with the steps built in.
