It stinks to come to an industry that is in the middle of a mayor change an you have to learn the old manual ways, I know Manual is fun and better when you have mastered it, but is extra stress for beginners.

So of all the companies that train for "free" who trains in automatics

I would like to go the Roqdmaster-Werner all automartic route but its 6500 plus food and lodging

You limit your job opportunities if you just train on an automatic and it will be listed on your CDL. Prime as a trucking company has automatics now, not sure what others do. Roadmaster when my husband started only used manual trucks, but to pay that much for their schooling and being limited it only automatics is really expensive.
