American phone plan not worth the money unless you get Verizon. I have a USA phone also and it's about $97/month. I just use it for data. I use a lot sometimes.

 

If you want a US plan 24/7/365 I can't help you.
If you want economical USA access for an occasional limited period, say 1 week or 1 month at a time, contact your provider to purchase this add-on. I'm with Telus, and this comes in useful for vacation or other trips into the USA. Much cheaper than roaming.

What network does telus use in USA?

 

I have a Canada/US plan through Telus. It's a $60 (?) plan with an addon data package (I think it's $20 for 10 GB) and a $10 roaming addon for the US. After taxes its under $100 a month and saves me a whole lot of money rather than using that $7/day "roam like home" option.

Just note that any US-carrier plan you get, it'll charge people you call in Canada for any call or text you get.

 

It finds the best one. I've had AT&T, Verizon and other more local regional stuff in Iowa and Wyoming. It's a fantastic plan. They have amazing customer service as well and rumour has it they are looking at buying out Rogers.

 

Unlimited data. Unlimited roaming. Must be in USA at least 50% of the time. 70.37 CAD monthly. Uses AT&T gsm network.

I use Sprint US.Unlimited talk and text in Canada and US with 2 gigs data.Costs around $45-50 US per month depending on if I go over on the data limit.

 

I have the same plan it seems good everywhere except marathon to wawa on .. in the states it’s been better than bell for me
