Be sure to get all the endorsements. Even reefer companies haul hazmat sometimes, such as a load of paint.

All of them may not have openings, but some will and will offer you a job if you graduate from cdl school and have any required endorsements.

As a Schneider veteran -- I can suggest....that driving with/for Schneider is likely to suck -- for 2 reasons (at least):
    • Your time out on a trainer's truck will be MUCH TOO SHORT;....&
    • Schneider has apparently begun to really pinch pennies too hard, at the driver's expense -- more recent posts in the following Forum thread illustrate this trending problem :(:
    Starting at Schneider

Driving for/with Prime....is also likely to suck.

    Why?

You are out with a trainer for TOO LONG. In truth -- you are at some point basically team driving...at bargain basement pay rates.

Meanwhile -- starting out driving for Knight, or Swift...you will be on a trainer's truck for 3 to 5 weeks....which is actually about right...& so they are better choices.
