PowerSource for concert rigs and medical rigs too.

If you want a thrill - KBR in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan fuel hauling. No Logs! Drive as much you can stand! Make $100,000 a year!

When you go out on a tour, the only home time you'll get is if you lucky enough to live in a tour when they will do a show.

If you want hometime, concert tours and NASCAR won't be for you.

I did work for a convenience store chain, they never advertised and if you didn't know someone, you never had a chance to get hired.

There is a reason that companies have to advertise for drivers!

Your cost of living is also outrageously high up there.

Gov. jobs are not all they are cracked up to be, I work for the Gov. and your pay per hr is good, home everyday, but heres the thing, you might get 20 dollars an hour, but you will only get 4 hours a day. Uncle Sam will always find a way to screw you, it's what he does best.

Everybody wants the dream job. High pay, beautiful equipment, home all the time. EVERY job has a down side. The Rock Tours.. You drive the truck, you don't see the band, you see roadies. The Nascar drivers don't just drive, they work the pits or any # of other grunt work that's around. It's all a trade off.

The key is to find something you can do ( hopefully love to do) and make it fit into your life. I drive a truck because I LOVE driving Trucks. I MAKE A LIVING. I'll never be rich because I'll never strive for that. I've worked for great companies and not so great ones. It's all part of it.

To get into something you believe would be a good fit and work for you, ya have to go where that is and get to the people who can do something for you. Hard to drive for Rock tours if ya live on a farm in the middle of no-where. Hard to drive for Nascar if ya live in the Bronx.

I was always told "it's your life, your ship, you guide it".

    Rocks and BigJohn54 Thank this.
