As far as the bed it kind of depends on what you will be hauling. A steel bed will be able to take a lot of abuse if you’re going to be hauling tear out and rip-rap, but is going to be heavy. An aluminum bed will weigh less, and would be perfect for rock sand and asphalt. Also, if you’re going to be asphalting, buy stock in mudflaps. They like to get chewed up by the buggy.
