What company(ies) have the best training programs and to work after for new CDL A Graduates ?

Like a lot of folks, I went to a CDL mill school and obtained a CDL A. Now I need to really learn the ins/outs of driving a truck.... in the real world.

Look for company that respects people and acts somewhat Professional. Does one exist ? LMAO !

    No.

    Thank god.

When you have that CDL A in your hands your first load assignment begins your journey into a life long enlightment and joy. Or end in gnashing of teeth and wailing over what could have been after you burned out in less than 90 days.

    Do you have endorsements?
I also went to cdl school in Murfreesboro; typical cdl mill but it got the job done and that's all I wanted.

    I can see it now.

A mockup of a truckstop counter in the old style.

Drivers squished together trying to get directions, resolve pending divorces, settle screaming kids, get the food sorted, ask and wait for coffee.

Sort of like charm school of the old days.

None just yet, but I will get them.

United or TDI ? Both CDL mills for sure.

    I did.... out of United.

I got a job working as a Switcher/Yard Dog at the Nissan plant complex. Insane job. Worn out equipment.

My switcher truck was a 2016 with 54,xxx miles on it. All within a 3 mile complex! Think about that for a moment ! Almost 18k miles per/year all within a 3 mile circle!

Looking at other opportunities to advance my career. I never got quality road training after CDL school. As you know from those CDL mills, students get very little time behind the wheel.

Pondering Smyrna Ready Mix and quite possibly Huff and Puff (local flatbed company). ??

    I really don't know....
