I was curious if anyone has had any luck with the other brands ? I got a Blue Parrot that I've had for over three years...It holds a charge fine and I have even kept it updated yet it constantly disconnects itself now...I got a bunch of Pilot points was wondering if there are any decent ones out there other than Blue Parrots ? thanks

Not really. Ive tried most other brands and if they last 3 months its a bloody christmas miracle. Sound quality also is all over the place and varies headset to headset from better to worse then blue parrot. I meam there are pros and cons to each set but blue parrot are just overall the best and the only one with good quality left. The rest are disposable cash grabs at best.

The only one that doesn't hurt my ear is the Rand McNally Cleardryve 220. It's big enough to go fully around my ear. Audio quality and noise cancellation on the mic is good. I've tried several Blue Parrot models and even the largest one starts hurting pretty quickly, and I don't even keep them on for long periods of time. Only when I'm on a call. It doesn't feel like it's built as tough as a Blue Parrot, so we'll se how long it lasts. I've had mine about 6 months now and it's still doing fine. The sound quality listening to music when you put both ear cups on is very good, but I rarely use it that way.

Plantronics makes great products, not exactly audiophile quality but great general purpose with an expected battery life.

Purchased this for my wifes home office:
She loves it and the battery will last a solid 8 hours with heavy phone interaction.

Otherwise non-conventional trucking, bluetooth earbuds would come into play. Much better audio quality but mediocre to poor voice quality on your part on phone calls. Hard to beat a condensing microphone on a open backed headset but i've never seen a wireless one worth a crap. Maybe ask around one of my favorite old haunts: Headphone Reviews and Discussion -

My ideal setup is going to be a S c h i t t Fulla Stack, Windows laptop and my nice old Sennheiser PC350's or ModHouse Argon MKV's plugged into the trucks inverter. Phone calls through the Windows phone link companion app as it work reasonably well with Android assuming internet connectivity.

What do i know of trucking though, don't trust me i haven't lived in a truck yet and it sounds like a lot of gear to be toting around.
    BlueThunderr Thanks this.

After the parrot s650 and its problems I tossed it out the window and ordered this. Noise canceling sometimes is too good and the price well ill never buy a parrot again. But since the AirPods Pro 2 came out I been using them since launch and they are pretty good for a bud.

The link has a $15 off coupon tool. Can't beat it for $35. Battery lasts over 30 hours and it charges via USB-C. Makes you wonder why a blue parrot is over $150
