What's best lube for winches?
I hate squeaky winches and wd40 only lasts several days before it dries out or washes away

What's the difference between a winch and a wench ?
We can lube them both up and they perform like champs.Zeviander, Odin's Rabid Dog, Lav-25 and 4 others Thank this. -
I carry an oil can and give them a little squirt when standing around waiting to load/unload. I do my ratchet binders to, helps bring the sqirt of grease out in them. No matter what you use it will wash off in the rain, but lasts a couple weeks. I use my used motor oil since I change my own, so don't cost nothing.

Chain oil is good, doesn't attract the dust/dirt like wd40
