If it helps you any, I taint never had a mich fail on me. Although they have gotten nosebleed pricing since I put a set on long ago. (Tarriffs maybe?) Yokos believe it or not has been fantastic steers.
One type of tires which may or may not be true for big trucks I used here in Arkansas is a pair of fat Hankooks under the bed of the pickup back then. The ground where I am is crappy and can trap (And did...) the tractor in a inch of wet clay. You cannot do anything with it. But those hankooks did well in the small truck I had for what I did with it then. Since it was a touch over 400 big block on a 5 speed hurst I can get em to chirp a little bit in third on dry pavement. But for whatever it's worth, I would be buying them again. But just the highway version.

I've come up with two other options:
Goodyear G182 or the Yokohama TY517. I will make a final decision and install later this week. I'm leaning towards the Goodyear, it's a good aggressive tread and about a thousand dollars cheaper than the Bridgestones.
I will also install Centramatics on the drives. I've had good results with those installed on the steers.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I talked to a few oil patch drivers. And they say they have had good luck with the cheap Chinese tires. They are heavy with a lot of extra rubber.

I am getting Yokohama TY517MC2. With Centramatics and with credit for my old tires it will run a tad less than $4K. Looking forward to see how they perform.
