Best route to upstate NY.

    Any of the brain trust have any decent suggestions for a good route to the NY Thruway and 87 N/B?

    So far I’ve heard people leaning towards going up the NJTP to 80 west and going up 17, but at the moment I’m weighing that against 83-81-80-287-87.

    81 will get you into some hill climbs. If you're heavy I'd go NJTP.
