I’m new to the CDL world and I’m considering walk away leases since I leave the country for about 4 months per year being that I’m retired. Leasing gives me the freedom to go home when I please and I like the idea of turning in the truck if I need to take time off for months at a time.
Which companies can any of y’all recommend that’ll accept a new CDL grad?

so, you're saying you want to lease for 8 months per year and come back 4 months later and repeat?

Starting a business is not a part time job. It's full time plus. In a few years after you've established yourself, have cash in reserve, know your customer base, then you may be in a position to back off and give yourself more time.
Right now if you try to do what you want, you'll just be burning through your retirement income to support a failing trucking business.cuzzin it Thanks this. -
