    What's the best way to find shippers to work with directly? Specifically shippers who do majority reefers. Sick of brokers. Thanks

    Oil companies. Apparently they’re starting to use Reefer trailers. I saw a guy on i83 In pa. Dot decided to pull out the portable scales and busted a guy overweight, loaded with oil canisters.

    Too easy.

    What i do is book a load thru a broker, get all the customer info then call the shipper and offer to haul the load for what the broker is offering at to me. Shippers love this because they save thousands of dollars

    A lot of direct shipper don’t pay on time. They turn that net 30 to net 90 and you have to constantly call them to pay. And many times they won’t even pay you for detention.
