Okay, all you wonderful truck drivers out there! Here's another question for ya! What's the story with the Bestway truck stop in Milesburg, Pennsylvania? I know there's a heavy equipment Caterpillar and truck mechanic shop in the shop part of the building, but it seems the rest of the place is abandoned. Was it a good place in its day? If so, I'd love to see some pictures. Or did the TA (formerly Travelport) next door put it out of business for good? Thanks! Just curious!

Too bad. It probably could have made it many more years without the fracking and TA's corporate support of their franchise next door.

It's an ideal location! I'll bet it was a hopping place at one time. And plenty of parking.

I would stop there if I was going east, but if I was going west I didn't want to start out at the bottom of the hill

One of the problems that always plagued that exit is going westbound it is easy to get off the exit and patronize the businesses. If you are eastbound, it is a hellacious down hill exit at the bottom of an even tougher long grade. And If you are westbound, you get to start up that grade from 10 mph turning onto the entry ramp. Sooooo, it was doomed from the start.
