I've worked for piece by piece investments out of southfield MI 9 months and at the beginning I was promised health benefits in 90 days and a whole lot of other fraudulent promises. 9 months later still no benefits no inspection bonus, detention pay so on and so on. This company is a broker load only company which uses Ryder trucks and trailers as there fleet. I experience getting no response from management staff as far as them not answering calls nor returning them ever. I have had countless problems with payroll, comdata fuel card not working leaving me stranded for hours, forced Dispatch, and being being down due to not being able to get loads. If your a single person with no life or responses than this may be a company for you otherwise stay as far away as possible this company will not last long.

This was buried and nobody else commented buy you were right. They were a fraudulent company. They had a scheme going but they play a lot of financial games so they don't care if they get sued. Look they didn't even dispute this and got a million dollar judgment against them.

DRIVE LOGISTICS LTD, Plaintiff, v. PBP LOGISTICS LLC, PIECE BY PIECE INVESTMENTS, INC., and LEAR CORPORATION

The brains behind the operation is Alex Jones and he has his brother Aaron working with him.

They just fraudulently bought Vero Logistics LLC down in Florida. That was a good company, anyone can say what they want about any company but nobody in the 10 years the owner had it from one truck to 40 (now down to 23) he never was accused of stealing from anyone.

The company has/had good accounts but they won't be around long now.

Such a shame. And these Jones brothers also have a FedEx Ground route under I believe Jack Express. They are from Michigan. Bunch of con artist that go around ripping off carriers and drivers and staff.

Oh crap, they bought Vero? Hope the former owner got cash! I read his whole adventure thread, from the time he got into his first truck, to when he had over 40 trucks. Such an inspiration to anyone wanting to start a business.
