Oh, I know him! That’s supersnackbar!

 

Last I saw him he was running local around Shev'll( for those of you not from there that is the correct pronunciation of Shelbyville. And don't use words like pronunciation it confuses them).

 

He's a driver here who got truck load carrier driver of the year.

He's a decent guy but these awards are strictly political within the industry. I never give much thought to these kinds of things.

At Gordon we had a driver get the same kind of award for safety and he had 2 accidents that company covered up so they could boast the award.

 

You have to work for a company more than 6 months

 

To show how meaningless that kind of stuff is...I was TLC's driver of the month in Feb, and only turned low 5000's for miles. (I got a fancy certificate and a pair of High Viz grippy gloves for tarp securing). Not sure what our relationship with TLC is now that Daseke is our parent company, but...

 

No idea what that means.

 

Who's TLC and did Daseke buy Moore?

TLC is the administrative company that handles the payroll, insurance (that we have now), a bunch of misc safety issues, and I think logs.

Daseke bought us, but we are still using TLC for some stuff... honestly, it's like trying to explain the Holy Trinity to a non-Christian...and I am not totally positive who does what anymore. As long as I get miles and my checks don't bounce, I let those in charge handle all the administrative hooplah
