Big G just announced today that beginning August 26 we will be paying practical miles and increasing pay by .02 cpm across the board. Topping out at .52 cpm.

What were they paying? The PC Miler short route ?

 

Yep...that will amount to about another $100 a week by itself

 

Perhaps one day they will realize, to attract decent drivers they have to be ahead of the curve instead of playing catch up with the modern world and paying what other companies use to pay before their latest raise.

 

I bet they hire lots of Kentuckians. That in and of itself is a huge plus to me.

 

I know they have less and less middle Tennessee drivers

 

Too many people from that area know about their reputation.

 

No idea how they operate. But I do not trust the Marsh's or their entire BS ESOP plan out of rifle shot.

They were a cheap paying company when they were trying to sell out and no one would buy (the whole genesis of the ESOP program) and they will continue to be so. One of the local guys told me they are trying some Swift type vs when you go home you have to clean out your truck because you may not have it when you come back.
