That's the best way of keeping tracking to a minimum , if you navigate to a webpage with facebook buttons, FB can still track you, according to my very limited understanding of tracking , which is what I read, accurate or not ?

Just wanted to take a few moments to drop a line here.
I don't really get on here much anymore due to the fact that it is really counter productive and I have better things to do with my time.
That being said,
Life at Big G this year has been good. In all I have received .08 cpm in raises. While initially my plan was to work less it seems I am still running everything I can legally run.
I traditionally stay out 11 days and go home for 3. I like this routine and am able to maximize my hours and get plenty of hometime as well.
I got another new truck this year. T680 with the 12 speed automatic which I have gotten use to for the most part. My choice would be a 13 but I am getting older and not shifting in all this traffic is a plus.
My long term plan is to retire in 4 years. With 401k and ESOP along with SSN I should be in pretty good shape.
House will be paid for and debt free plus my wife is a bit younger than me and will continue to work. She manages a couple hotel properties and does quite well. She wants me to work with her after I leave trucking(actually wants me to leave trucking now) which I may do part time.
Big G actually offered to allow me to drive part time if I wanted but I don't think so. Trucking really isn't much fun anymore. But it has paid the bills.

I too got a new T680 recently. Miss the room of the Cascadia though. The KW is pretty narrow. OTOH, I have started a shuttle run between the Crockett CA C&H Sugar plant to the Walmart DC in McCarren NV and am home every night if I want.

 

That's pretty cool...
I can get home every weekend now for 2 days but like it the way I am doing it. 3 days gives me time to get stuff done.

 

We just moved to Fernly NV and have a ton of things to do at the new house. I hate leaving it all on my DW to take care of, so even if it is just a few things at night, I am there. And when Donner Pass snows over I stay at home too. Works for me.

 

2019 is there any new updates on Big G as far as pay or benefits.
