The GM's office was upstairs overlooking the fuel bay. He was alerted about any damage to equipment. Once, I was fueling and saw him chewing a driver out over a trailer door damaged in their unlit drop lot. He was irate. It happened right in front of many people, intended to punish and embarrass. This incident embodies their management style for me, and I hear it wasn't uncommon. They were just mean sometimes. I know that drop lot and is unlit and chaotic with little room to spare. Maybe they changed, it's been 4 years since I left.

4 years ago and you’re still harboring the hate? What you’ve posted doesn’t seem too unreasonable…maybe, lacking tact. But, I’d certainly want to know what was going on with the equipment, if I were the GM. From what I’ve seen on the road, they have nice stuff. Presumably, it’s nice because people are staying on top of it all.

I agree. 4 years is a long time to hold onto anything other than your wife. Talk about a delayed reaction to the max.

Oh, I don’t know. I have trousers that have gone MIA for more than four years. I will offer this little nugget, however:

If he’s holding a grudge against them after 4 years they must’ve did him dirty something serious!
