Big opportunity For CR England Lease Operators? Merged 3 threads

Sorry about the double post, I'm new to this website too :0 I'm very new to the industry. I've worked for CR england less than 6 mo, worked very hard to get a dedicated lane through cr. this run entails 5100 miles per week avg, and $1.00 per mile as a lease operator, with some drop pay as well!! I have heard all the horror stories about england, which i now realize are not true and only written by... hmm certain types of individuals. anyways my question is would I be stupid to pass up on an opportunity like this.

5100x$1.00 = 5,100 + avg drop pay= 5,180/weekly.

$5,180 -
$500 - truck payment
800 Gal/fuel @ 1.25 per/gal= $1000
maintenance@ 7cpm= $357
variable mileage@14cpm= $714
Insurance=$203
fuel/road tax@1.5 cpm= $76.50
workers comp=$80.77
Licences, permits, fhut = $44.50
Total expenses = $2,975

$5180-$2,975= $2,205
Employee pay.
It varies, If I want to train or not.
$2,205-$230-$850= $1,355-$1,975 weekly gross
$5826.50-$8492.50 monthly gross.

This is what I believe to be a fairly accurate assessment of my business model, any tips or advice would be very much appreciated.

 

These numbers came from Horizon, a truck leasing company within the walls of cr england who I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw a bobtail. This is exactly why I'm ASKING for advice from all of you, I'm new to this and very scared to lease. haha I'm going to be asking for a lease agreement (by the way which is about 90 pages long) and take it to my uncle who's a banker/financial advisor and get the real scoop on how potentially catastrophic the lease is. Because if these numbers are even close to correct.....

Well of course. It would actually only be a 6 day work week. It is not difficult at all for a team on a dedicated lane to run..lets see

5100 divided by 6
= 850.

850 miles a day/team? No problem.
