Big rig driver takes icy plunge

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - December 4, 2007 -- A tractor trailer driver survived more than an hour in icy waters after his rig crashed overnight.
The accident involving a U.S. Postal Service truck happened around 5:15 a.m. at Bartram Avenue and Mingo Avenue.
The 41-eyar-old driver was partially submerged in the water for about an hour before rescue teams got him out.
