i work for an outfit who frequently does lifts for oilfield work and sometimes other work. how many of yall hear of having to use a bill of lading for your companies owned equipment either mounted to a trailer or hauled and secured to a trailer, where as the load is divided and secured in the same fashion, everytime it moves.
an auditor came into our office and demanded that a BOL be written up for the (self propelled) crane itself and its counterweight trailer
anyone else experience this? is a BOL required if your hauling your own property?

Private cargo is not a problem, however when we hauled company (Private) Cargo from here to there at their expense there is a BOL with the freight. So that if there is a problem it's all on paper with the truck. -
No.
I got stopped at an Agricultural station in Fl while hauling my former company's own tracked grinder. Rookie cop on duty (he was young enough where he probably only shaved every other week) asks to see my bol...I replied that it was our machine that was going from one job to the next. The name on my door is the same as the one on the machine...
His supervisor said "they don't need one unless they just bought the machine..."
I was waved on down the road. Never before or again heard any such nonsense -
That's the moniker you hung on yourself - and I used #ss; (as in dumbA##,)
in a post and it's censored? Ok then. -

Absolutely NOT offended; just seemed strange - I do even like it.
Strange; as (###) I had previously seen? (I think?)
Assactly where I don't remember.
Bad#ss
Harda##
So I added Dumb#ss.
And yes; I have seen a lot of all these kinds of #ss in my day.
Even bootie ###.
And BTW; this IS one of the most civil and polite forums on the web; and I frequent many.
