    Good question. Not sure of the answer. I received roadside assistance this week. No products sold to me, only services. They charged tax for their help/time. I would ask your state where your business is licensed.

    My state recently started requiring tax be collected on certain services, but not on all. Some special interest lobbies kept their clients exempt, but not everyone is. Labor previously was non taxable here, but not always anymore.

    In TX some labors are taxable, services rendered are not.
