IDK, good luck. I did a lot of rail yard work in Chicago, and the train always had the right of way. It was your responsibility to look out for them, not t'other way 'round. I'd have to think, for common sense reasons, a crossing would be no different. I think this was an unmarked crossing, driver wasn't watching and now they're crying about it.

 

I wonder if the local kids unwound the brake wheels and off they went?

 

Just a hunch. The drivers insurace carrier didnt want to cover his loss so he is suing the railroad

Train cars are normally pulled or pushed if I read article correctly it was two random cars sitting there without the brakes on that rolled into him.. I still think he didn’t look before crossing because it seems odd they got their speed up that quick to hit him

 

In all fairness, for many gas station burritos... that is the best tasting part.
