bouncing gauges 1995-379

    1995-379 During normal operation the speedometer bounces up & down, voltage gauge 10-12, fm radio cuts out. As soon as i touch the clutch pedal everything goes back to normal. Any ideas of what it could be? PS jake brake works fine.

    Agree with a bad ground, or it could be a loose wire going to starter or battery.

    Second a bad ground or loose connection.

    I had the power accessory relay go out last year - it’s behind the panel with your pyro on it. It dropped Speedo, wipers, blower, pretty much all the ‘accessories ‘

    It came on kinda slowly.

    When you say ‘touch’, you mean ‘tap’, like enough to activate clutch switch, or press - like moving the linkages under the floor -

    Wonder if you have some wires tangled in the clutch linkages?

    thanks everybody for responding. i"ll respond from last to first Blair&gretchen if i just touch the clutch everything works no engagement. Pmdriver batteries up every day. Blair, I did change the relay on the left behind the panel but i did"t change the one on the right that its bolted to. I just cleaned all the battery connections, if i had a bad ground could it be anywhere other than the starter cause that works fine. currently i have the clutch pedal slack zip tied out so the speedo & radio work

    Run a another ground strap from the back of starter where the grounds hook directly to the cab
