I received a phone call today from one of the local employment agencies. They were asking me if I'd be interested in a box truck furniture delivery driver position. The company id be working for is a warehouse though not an actual store so im kind of confused. Any help

I pick up furniture from the manufacturer or a DC, and then deliver to a dealer.
Sometimes I pick it up from the manufacturer or the dealer and deliver directly to the end user-it may be a drop off for them to install or I have to install it for them. -
Schneider has a huge box truck division and part of that is furniture delivery.
I posted some pictures of that a while back.

Could be Third party home delivery for a local chain.
If it's a major chain, they're gonna have their own trucks and employees, guys will be bonded and background checked, etc.
If it's Bob's Wayfair Furniture on Turkey Trot Circle in BFE, USA...
He just wants a strong back to deliver this sofa and coffee table to granny in her trailer at the mobile home park as cheaply as possible.
I'd say that's what THIS is.
Nothing wrong with it. It's work.
Be careful, tho.
People fuss about EVERYTHING in their homes. It can look like an episode of Hoarders and they'll want you to dress in a radioactive suit to keep from tracking dust.
TRUST ME.. PEOPLE ARE NUTS.
You can make tip $$..
You'll work your tail off. Crap is heavy!!
I've been hauling furniture for 30years and it gets heavier every single year.
I couldn't imagine carrying it in to peoples homes, and up their stairways. -

Chandler furniture warehouse in daleville Alabama
-
Sunbelt Furniture Express (as well as others, I'm sure) delivers new furniture to that warehouse. The box truck(s) working out of there will deliver that furniture to the Chandler stores and maybe even occasionally directly to a customer's home, if it was a special order.
I've seen a Sunbelt truck parked in front of the gate at night, waiting for delivery the next morning. I wouldn't have thought there was enough room for an OTR truck to get completely off US84 but he made it.
