POWER WAS SHORTED TOGETHER IN THE HARNESS UDER DASH . THE GROUND WENT THE SAM CHASSIS MODULE (BLK) AND THE (ORG) WENT TO THE INSTURMENT CLUSTER . THAT FIX DID NOT FIX BRAKE LIGHT PROBLEM .

Drain out all your air. If they go out, brake pedal is sticking. If not, test your brake light switch.

Im driving a 5 ton truck, it's a lame auto-trans but has no Park. You leave it in neutral and use the e-brake as a parking brake...only problem is, when the truck is off, all the lights are off and the doors are locked BUT THE BRAKE LIGHTS STAY ON!!! The only way to turn them off is to disengage the ebrake, but then you are just in neutral, and you can't leave it in drive as it rolls...is this how they built the truck? this can not be normal, how are the brake lights even attached to the emergency/parking brake? The mechanic couldn't figure it out, so he installed a battery kill switch so we just turn off all the power when we park for more than 5 mins...please tell me something is wrong and can be fixed?

Confused..............
E-brake and parking brake are generally the same thing, just different terms. -
I have a 2015 587 sometimes when I push on the brakes the fronts will hang up and not release and brake lights stay on. I've tried draining all the air out of the system and I think 1 maybe 2 times the brakes have released and the lights go out. And like 4 or 5 times they haven't released. Thought it was moisture that frozen so I changed the air dryer filter and even put isopropyl alcohol in the air lines. Went on test run did good. Took off for work this morning and got about 45 miles away pushed on brakes and the front hung up and lights were on. Had to end up disconnecting the hoses and plugging them off so I could get it back home. Can someone help me?

Sounds like the treadle valve could be hanging up internally. Its a dual stage valve and I believe most trucks are plumbed to have one half apply the steer axle brakes and the other half does the drive axles.
