I'm no doctor, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last night. Depending upon the severity of that torn bicep, I see no path forward into flats this soon after surgery. Really hate to piss on your Cheerios.

I have no illusion that I will be pulling anything other that refer or dry van for the first year or so. I know that in general flats, step decks and RGN’s will be a ways down the road and I’m totally fine with the process in which it takes to get there. The goal is to get there at some point. Really at this point in time I just want to get out on the road and drive. I don’t want to shortchange my experience behind the wheel by being arrogant in thinking that I’m the exception to the rule.

I understand the logic behind that and it makes sense for the company but I don’t want to be locked into a contract, especially with a mega carrier. The last thing I want is to be locked into a years worth of ridicule from other divers because I work for Swift.

I think there are a few companies with dry van and flatbed options.
I would have loved to have learned both with my starter company but all we did was reefer

I’m not worried so much about the time as I am being stuck with some dip #### that says things like “stupid comment”.
