My truck was in the shop for 10 days , I knew it was going to be a while from just being around the terminal I knew the pace so I decided to go home I booked my own bus ticket an went home now I'm being told I won't receive breakdown pay because I didn't stay in the hotel isn't that kind of backwards shouldn't they be happy they didn't have to pay for me to stay in a hotel for 10 days? Is this common practice for most companies?
