    That's the way it is here; one truck picks up household garbage and another picks up recycle stuff, then both trucks dump it in a landfill.

    Oh no. Does that mean we're going to run out of pool noodles since we can't recycle them into new pool noodles? Last I heard the pool noodle mines were running low.

    Our rural trash pickup charges $29.95/month. They recently sent out a flyer that beginning Jan. 1 they would also offer recycling pickup for an additional $39.95/month. Less for more?
