We had a 24 passenger bus from about the 1920's that challenged a weight bridge made of not so good wood. It failed the bridge. If I am not mistaken they FINALLY go around to replacing that bridge not too long ago. I don't know if it is a arkansas story telling having fun with this transplanted yankee or not but it's something.

Another reason running hurricane relief loads adds an element of risk.

Remember that yahoo that tried to cross the Mobile Bay bridge after/during Katrina(after driving around "bridge closed" barricades...)they found his body weeks later still inside the cab of the truck a good ways away from the bridge.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

"A truck driver is lucky to be unhurt after a bridge collapsed under his vehicle in South Carolina this morning."

That's one tough Driver to get ejected from the tractor via the windshield but yet walk away unhurt.

I don't believe he was ejected. It says he was trapped, so they probably pulled the windshield so he could get out

    Lepton1 and DSK333 Thank this.
