No I'm not referring to a 900 dollar payment on a trailer.

I know of three drivers selling their trailers. You can pick up a trailer here in Pennsylvania for $1,000 -$ 1,500.

Believe me, these guys lost their trucks and are desperate for some money.

now that's a good deal. would cost me as much to go get one though. Is everything legal on them? I don't much care what they look like as long as they are mechaniclly and structurally sound

I've seen a few ld spring rides go for that price but my truck rides bad enough with an air ride trl

Is that a mistake? Running 2,500 miles per week costs you $585 a week to rent the trailer!!!

Really... is it $30 a day or 15 cents a mile? Not BOTH?

A monthly truck payment is only 10 cents a mile.

Well yeah I guess I pay $33 a day for my trailer. $43.50 a day for just the days I run.

But hoppers seem to be more expensive than dries too. I can't seem to find one for sale under 35k.

If you decide you need an insurance agent, I know a great one in Phoenix. She has been my agent since 1993

And where are you going ? To Dealers?

Forget them., they've got to make their profits too. Alot of Drivers, and Trucking companies just want to get rid of their equipment. That's where you find them.

Yes, Hoppers are more expensive, but you really don't have to pay 35K for one.
Reefers use to sell for around 20K., but now you can find them for 2,000 and up to 10K. At least half the price.,
I know one driver here that is selling his reefer for $1,500. And there is nothing wrong with it. He's getting out of the trucking business and getting into the funeral business.

    PharmPhail Thanks this.
