BTC flatbed A good starter company?

well they came by the school where I just graduated and had one of the students that graduated also come by my last day in one of their trucks and honestly if I wasnt going to TMC for the apprentiship money I would go to BTC, they pay percentage and your home just about every weekend and they getting brand new Macks. they still a small to medium company and they don't plan on going over 500 trucks. they have bout 350 now.

 

My next door neighbor drove flatbed for BTC for several years and had a good experience. He is a retired Marine and liked going to the Gym while on the road. He said BTC was happy he was keeping in shape on the road and didn't mind some out of route miles he put on to hit the national gym chain he was a member of. I would like to go to BTC but will begin with TMC in less than a month for the Apprenticeship Program also. That $1100 / month for the first six months makes the decision a lot easier... Check out Boyd Brothers too. There terminal is right across the street from BTC in Birmingham. I started with Boyd and I dont regret it at all. They have a great training program also. We had two guys not make the cut in oreintation and they just walked across the street to BTC and got hired on the spot. ( I guess you could say BTC takes the Boyd rejects) HAHA

 

A friends son started with BTC about 2 weeks ago. So far, he likes it. But he was at Covenant for a year before this.....
