    Update of the theft:

    Still no sign of the trailer.

    This weekend another tractor got hit in the yard. They couldnt take it away, and it was hooked on to a tanker. I have 15 more days in this yard but most likely leave this weekend.

    Hey,

    Hope you all are doing well.

    A couple of questions:
    1. I have to deliver Blueberry Pomace used in Pet food in NY on Monday, is FDA involved in this?
    2. Do any of you have FEDEX Trade Network after hours number? I emailed them an invoice and want to know if they will clear the shipment on a weekend.

    I don't have FedEx contact at all. My agent that does all my ACI/ACE stuff takes care of that. You can check your FedEx shipment status here... follow the prompts carefully. I don't see why they won't clear it on a weekend. FedEx custom brokers are pretty much impossible to get a hold of.
    FedEx Trade Networks Automated PARS and PAPS

    If you have a shipment that may have FDA, you must wait 2 hours from the point the entry number is assigned before you cross. Keep 2 copies of the invoice, both with the PAPS number and also clearly write the entry number on both, you may be asked for this. Also, if you have a certificate of origin, (unlikely with blueberry for pet food use - but maybe) they may also want to see this. If they send you in at Buffalo or Lewiston put your ACE and also COO and 2 copies of invoice like I said earlier and go and have a seat - they will call your name.

    The PAPs isnt showing up on their portal. I emailed it to the address I emailed once before. I cant seem to find any number over the internet to speak with someone. Also, created a manifest on border connect.

    For FDA, is that all I have to do? I never ever took shipment that might be FDA.

    Yep that's all you have to do.
    The officer at the booth will tell you if you have to go in for fda review. If fda office is closed when you cross, put 1 invoice with paps code and entry in the drop box. If officer days you have agriculture or AQI that means you go to customs counter first. Customs counter will tell you if you also have fda and will give you one invoice back and tell you if you need to drop it in their office or not. If fda is open, you go in give officer invoice and wait while they enter some numbers in the computer then tell you to go. It is rare they actually want to look at the load. It's stupid but that's the process.

    Still trying to find a FEDEX number. I sent the PAPS to an email I used a couple months ago - bpm@ftn.fedex.com and its still not on their portal.

    All the numbers I called, there is no one to respond

    This is the only email I have for FedEx and I don't know if it still is where to send.

    This (I think) is the email for PARS coming to Canada at Windsor. They may be able to help. Tell them in the email you have no other clue as to where to email your paps shipments in and ask them to advise for future.

    I actually found their number on the BOL but no body is picking up.

    The reason why PAPS wasnt showing up was because the customer gave me CDN customs invoice and not US and I didnt pickup on it.
