Buy a truck in Canada to move to USA

    If you have your company setup in the US already it’s fairly easy to import a truck.

    I called an importer and they wanted a lot of money and it was going to take a month or 2. I asked them if they would bring the vehicle for that kind of money. They laughed and told me that I still needed to get it to them. So I fell up to Canada and picked up the truck. I crossed back into the US from Alberta to I15. They helped me fill out all the paperwork at the border crossing. I really kind of did it outlaw style and got "caught"! It turned out to be a lot easier, but it was a 1994, so the EPA part was a lot easier on that truck than it would be on an emissions vehicle.

    Are the trucks so much cheaper in Canada that it’s worth the hassle ?
