Recently (3 days ago) replaced the top turbo on a c15 cat acert. Truck now has a constant whirling/squealing noise coming from turbo, to the point that I've had to park the truck because the noise is unbearable. At first sounded just like the whirring of the fins but has progressed to an almost screeching. Has anyone else had this issue? Will try to add video. Video I currently have is too large.

High idle then spray soapy water on all joints or better yet smoke test it ..new turbo probably produces more boost than old turbo so leak got worse .. btw if old turbo came apart it may of damaged the second turbo .

I've seen many times after someone had a turbo changed where the steel accordion tubing then cracks because it wasn't loosened on both ends and reset so that it sits "neutrally" to the new turbo. This will cause them to crack and the leak usually screeches pretty loudly.
